3/4 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
3 T. milk
1 T. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F.
Beat together peanut butter, Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla at medium speed until well blended. Add egg and beat just until blended.
Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix until just blended.
Drop by heaping spoonfuls 2" apart. Flatten gently with a fork. Sprinkle a small amount of granulated sugar on top.
Bake for 7-8 minutes or until set and edges are beginning to brown.
Cool 2 minutes on the cookie sheet.
Remove to cooling racks.
