1 1/2 c. sifted confectioner's sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter in large mixing bowl
Add egg and flavorings
Mix thoroughly
Sift dry ingredients together and stir in
Refrigerate 2 - 3 hours
Preheat oven to 375º
Divide dough in half and roll out on lightly floured pastry sheet
Roll to 1/8 inch thickness
Dip Holiday Cookie Cutter in flour before each cutting
Cut as many cookies from each rolling as possible
Dough worked as little a possible makes the best cookies
Place on lightly greased baking sheet and bake for 7 - 8 minutes or until lightly golden
