1 C. butter, softened
1 C. quick-cooking oats
1/2 C. cocoa
2 C. boiling water
3 C. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2 C. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Put the butter, oats and cocoa in a mixing bowl and add the boiling water. Stir until butter is dissolved.
Add brown sugar and vanilla; mix well.
Add eggs one at a time and beating well after each egg.
Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the oat mixture until just combined.
Pour into a greased 13x9x2" pan and bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
When cool, frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.
