Personal Notes:
This recipe is from the Kansas City Junior League Cookbook titled Company's Coming, dated 1975. It was a gift with Connie and she had made notations along with some of her favorite recipes and a birthday wish for "Happy Cooking". This brisket recipe is great if you're planning to be gone all day. Dinner is served when you arrive home! It also makes a lot of barbeque sauce that you can refrigerate and use with other meat dishes.
