1 1/2 lbs. round steak - pounded & sliced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup wine vinegar
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (or 2 cloves of garlic smashed)

Marinate at least 4 hours or overnight. Roll in flour and fry.
