1 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. baking powder(sift into flour)
1/2 c. pecans
2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. soda dissolved in 2 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees until light brown.
