4 lbs. hamburger
1/8 c. tender quick salt
2 tsp. liquid smoke
2 tsp. ground pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Mix hamburger and tender quick salt together and refrigerate over night. Next day add: liquid smoke, pepper and garlic powder.
Roll and make 2 rolls. Wrap rolls in cheese cloth or nylon net. Bake 4 hours at 225 degrees on a cookie sheet.

You can also add about 1/4 c. of peppercorns if desired.

Lucille added onion powder and mustard seeds and baked hers at 325 degrees for 90 minutes.
