1 CUP 100% Bran Pour 1 Cup Boiling Water over Bran Cream together: ½ cup shortening 2 eggs 1 ½ cups sugar or honey Add: 1 pint buttermilk Add hot water & bran Sift together: 2 ½ Cups flour 2 ½ tsp soda ½ tsp salt Add: 2 cups All Bran
Mix together & put in muffin tins. Bake at 400 and 15 minutes.
Can keep mix in the refrigerator and just make a few at a time.
