In an 8 or 9 inch baking dish or pan melt 1 cube butter or margarine.
Mix together: 1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup milk(or enough to pour easily)

Directions:
Directions:
Pour this batter mixture evenly into the melted butter by drizzling it back & forth & crosswise. Into this distribute
2 1/2 cups fruit, and over the top of this sprinkle
1/2 cup sugar.

Bake 50 minutes @ 350 If using glass lower to 325

Any type fruit can be used in this recipe. If something very tart(rhubarb) use full cup sugar on top. Too sweet use less sugar. If using canned presweetened use less sugar. If canned fruit is used, say like crushed pineapple or berries put in juice also.
