1 Clove Garlic minced
2 tbsp Vegetable oil
1 can (10 1/2 oz) Tomato puree
1 bottle (12 oz) Chile sauce (We like Heinz)
1 c Vinegar (Cider not white)
1 bottle (12 oz) Ginger ale find one with the lest amount of sugar aprox 120 calories
1/4 c Sugar
2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Seasoned salt
2 tsp Allspice
1 tsp Mace
1/8 tsp Hot sauce or to taste

Cook and stir onion and garlic in oil until onion is tender
Add remaining ingredients EXCEPT SUGAR
Add sugar slowly checking tast of sauce for sweet verses tangy
Simmer 15 min

I like to roast an eye of round to rare/med rare, slice it real thin and simmer it in the BBQ sauce for about 1 hr. After you have simmered the beef in the sauce put the whole works in the refrigerator over night and you wouldn't believe how tender the meat is.
