1 lb. hamburger meat
1 egg
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 sm. onion
1/2 sm. green pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. milk
garlic - optional
sweet basil - optional
oregano - optional

Directions:
Directions:
Put hamburger and egg in big bowl and sprinkle the oats over the top. Mix onion, green pepper, salt, black pepper, milk and spice in blender (chop - not puree). Dump on top of meat mixture and mix by hand and shape into a loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 to 60 minutes in a covered casserole dish.

Put some catsup on top of the loaf and spread it around. Put potatoes on one side and carrots on the other side and bake at the same time. Uncover the last 10 minutes to brown a little.
