2 sticks butter
2-1/2 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour
1 c. self-rising flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 eggs
1/2 pint sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Sift flour. Alternate adding 1 spoon of flour and 1 egg until all ingredients have been added. Using high speed mixer, beat thoroughly.
Use a greased, floured and wax paper lined tube cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Substitute almond or lemon extract for vanilla.
I also add 1 T. Superior Imitation Vanilla, Butter and Nut flavoring for a rich flavor
