5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. oleo (or Crisco©)
(1) 18 oz. jar creamy peanut butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar for garnishing

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a large mixing bowl combine flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder; set aside. In small bowl, beat eggs and blend in vanilla; set aside. In another large bowl beat oleo; add peanut butter and sugars. Add the beaten egg mixture and flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture and blend well. Put garnishing sugar into a small bowl. Roll tablespoonfuls of dough into balls and then in the bowl with the garnishing sugar. Place on prepared cookie sheet about 2 inches apart and bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned around edges.
