1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans or almonds
3 1/2 to 4 doz. chocolate kisses

Combine - flour, baking powder, salt & nuts set aside
mixer - crisco, sugars, egg, extracts
Add dry ingredients slowly
Form dough into 1" balls.
Press a chocolate kiss into each ball making sure it is completely covered.
