Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix together paprika, brown sugar, cayenne and salt and pepper.
Rub this mixture on both sides of ribs.
Arrange ribs in crock pot by standing them around the wall of pot, thicker side down and meaty side against the pot. You can put another layer inside of first if you are making a larger batch.
Pour Barbeque sauce over ribs , cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

IMPORTANT:
When ribs are tender, remove VERY CAREFULLY from pot and lay on baking sheet covered with foil and set ribs on a rack over this foil. (bone side up)
Skim any fat off top of juices in crock pot and then strain juices with a mesh strainer Put remaining juices in a sauce pan. Bring juices to a boil and reduce about a third, about 15 minutes.
Preheat oven on broil and place oven rack about 10 inches from broiler.
Brush ribs with sauce and place under broil and broil 3-4 minutes, then remove, turn ribs over with a spatula CAREFULLY so they do not fall apart and brush with sauce and broil again for 3-4 minutes.
Serve with any extra sauce on side.
