1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs

Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder and baking soda. Cut in butter as for pie crust. Mix in sugar. I use a kitchenaid mixer with the paddle attachment for this. Add sugar. Then add the eggs (beat before hand)...do not overmix...just til it forms a ball.

Roll out and cut into shapes. Bake at 350F til they are just brown tinged on the edges...mom's recipe doesn't have a time..you gotta watch.

Best sugar cookies ever.
