1 C. Raisins, cooked
1 C. Sugar
1 C. Shortening
1 Egg
1 t. Ginger
1/2 t. Salt
2 t. Soda
1/2 C. Molasses
3 3/4 C. Flour
Frosting:
3 C. Powdered sugar
Orange juice and rind

Directions:
Directions:
Cover raisins with water boil for 2 minutes. Cool use juice in batter.
Cream together sugar and shortening add egg and molasses. Combine dry ingredients than add to creamed mixture, Add cooked and cooled raisins.
Drop by teaspoon full unto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for approx. 10 min. until set.
Cool and frost.
