1/4 C vinegar
1/2 C water
2 T brown sugar
1 T prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 thick slice lemon
1/4 C butter
1/2 C ketchup
2 T Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except Ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes. Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke. Bring to boil.

Makes 1 3/4 cups
