4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
2 cups milk
2 cups crushed potato chips
Two 15-oz. cans asparagus spears, drained
6 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
1 cup grated American cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour until smooth. Add milk gradually and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce is smooth and thick. Spray 2-qt casserole dish with non-stick vegetable spray and layer 1/3 of chips, half the asparagus, half the egg slices and half the cheese. Repeat. Pour sauce over and top with remaining potato chips. Bake in 350 degree over 40 minutes.
