1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream o tarter
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven 350º.
Cream butter. Add sugar gradually, cream until fluffy. Add unbeaten egg and vanilla. Beat well. Put dry ingredients together. Blend into creamed mixture.
Chill 1 hour before rolling out. Bake 10 minutes. Don't brown.
