1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1-1/4 cup flour
Bowl

Mix 1/2 cup butter with 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar until creamy. Use a spoon and bowl or a mixer.

Add 1 egg, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 2/3 cup peanut butter, mixing well.

Add the 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. baking soda and then slowly add 1-1/4 cup flour, mixing thoroughly as you add the dry ingredients.

Shape the dough into balls and set on baking sheets.

Use a fork to press the balls into flat circles.

Cook for eight minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit..
