2# Poquito beans
1 envelope chili mix
1 med. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2# bacon, diced
1/2# ground beef
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oregano
1-1/2 C. tomato juice

Directions:
Directions:
Wash beans. Put in heavy pot and cover with water. Bring to boil, boil for 10 minutes, turn off heat and let sit for one hour. Drain & reserve beans.
In meantime, saute bacon and ground beef untl beef is crumbly and done and bacon crispy. Drain off most of the fat. Add the onion, garlic and saute until onion is limp. Add seasonings, chili mix, tomato juice to the bacon and ground beef.
Add to the reserved beans, adding just enough water to cover beans.
Simmer one hour and serve.
