1 1/2 loaves bread, whole wheat and white mixed.
1 large onion, chopped.
1 c. celery, chopped, including leaves.
3/4 lb. sausage (bulk).
Salt and pepper to taste.
5 eggs, beaten.
Boiling water.
1 tsp. sage

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350 F. Grease 9x13 baking pan. Cook celery and onions in water about 10 minutes. Break up bread in baking pan. Break up sausage on top of bread. Pour hot water over bread until bread is no longer dry (about 3/4 to 1 1/2 c.). Add salt, pepper, and sage to beaten eggs. Pour over bread and sausage mixture. Bake uncovered 90 minutes.
