4 egg whites, room temperature.
1 tsp. vanilla.
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar.
1 c. granulated sugar.
1 c. mini chocolate chips.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250 F. Lightly grease large cookie sheet. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add vanilla and cream of tartar, and continue beating. Gradually add sugar. Beat until stiff peaks form. Mix in chocolate chips. Spoon approximately 1 heaping tbsp. of mixture at a time onto cookie sheet, approximately 1/2" apart. Bake 1 hour. Turn oven off and leave in oven at least one additional hour up to overnight. Leftovers may be saved in a sealed, airtight plastic bag.
