1 C. butter
1 1/3 C. sugar
1 T. light corn syrup
3 T. water
1 C. coarsely chopped almonds or walnuts
5 (4 1/2 oz.) melted Hershey bars

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in heavy greased 2 qt. saucepan. Add sugar, corn syrup and water. Cook and stir to 300º.
(hard crack stage) Quickly stir in the nuts and spread in a greased pan to cool. When cold, melt the Hershey bars and spread quickly over candy. Sprinkle with nuts also. When cold, break in pieces.

Watch that the mixture heats slowly to 300 degrees and it comes out perfect!
