1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. packed light brown sugar
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. sale
3 eggs
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 t. baking soda
2 t. cream of tartar
1 (8 oz.) package of Heath Bit o"Brickle Toffee Bits

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Lightly grease cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.
Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and salt in large bowl until blended. Add eggs, beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and cream of tartar, gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended Stir in toffee bits. Chill dough for 30 minutes. When ready to bake, drop by heaping teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned Cool slightly; remove to wire rack. Cool completely.
