5 oz. unsweetened chocolate, chopped. 1/3 C. Mascarpone cheese at room temperature, 2 1/4 C. sugar, 1 C. vegetable oil, 3 large eggs, 1 Tbsp. vanilla, 3 C. all purpose flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 t. salt, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 3/4 C. semisweet chocolate chips

CHOCOLATE SAUCE: 1C. semisweet chocolate chips, 2/3 C. heavy whipping cream. 1/2 tsp. vanilla

325º oven. Grease and flour two 9/5 inch loaf pans.

In small saucepan, combine chocolate, 1 C. water.. Place over med. low heat and stir constantly till chocolate is melted, about 2 minutes. Set aside to cool for 2 minutes, then whisk in the mascapone until mix is smooth.
Beat sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla in large bowl for 30 seconds. Stir in the chocolate,mascarpone Mix. Whisk flour, soda, salt, baking powder and chocolate chips in med. bowl. then add to wet mixture, stir until just blended. Put in prepared pans and cook 55 to 60 minutes. Cool in pans 5 minutes, and turn out to cool completely.
For Sauce. Heat the milk and vanilla until hot. pour over the chips stirring until chocolate is melted and mix is smooth. Pour over cakes or cut cake into bite sized pieces and dip into sauce.
