1 1/2 c. cake flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. Crisco
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. milk
3/4 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put flour, sugar, Crisco, cocoa, salt, soda, and 2/3 cup milk into a mixing bowl. Stir vigorously by hand or with mixer (medium speed) for 2 minutes. Stir in 3/4 teaspoon baking powder. Blend in eggs, 1/3 milk, and vanilla. The batter will be smooth and thin. Put in greased cup cake pans and bake for 15-20 minutes at 350.
