1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. shortening, all or part butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. raw apples, peeled and diced
1/2 c. warm coffee
1 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Mix in egg, flour, soda, and cinnamon. Add apples and coffee alternately. Bake at 350 for 30 mintues. Check with toothpick.
