1-1/2 C. butter
1 C. sugar
1 C. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 C. sour cream
1 C. raisins
1 C. chopped nuts
1/2 C. chopped candied orange peel
3 C. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:

Grease cookie sheets and set aside.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream the butter, sugars, eggs, and sour cream until light and fluffy. Add raisins, dates, nuts and orange peel.
In a small bowl mix the dry ingredients and add gradually to the creamed mixture stirring until well blended.
Drop by tsp. fulls on baking sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
