3/4 C. cocoa
1/2 tsp. soda
2/3 C. butter, divided
1/2 C. boiling water
2 C. sugar
2 eggs
1-1/3 C. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 C. chopped nuts
2 C. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl combine cocoa and soda. Blend in 1/3 C. melted butter.
Add boiling water and stir until well blended.
Stir in sugar, eggs and remaining butter.
Add flour, vanilla and salt.
Stir in the pecans and chips.
Pour into a greased 13x9x2" pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.
Cool.
