1/2 c. butter 1 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. milk or cream 2 c. confectioner sugar 1 tsp. vanilla
Mix frosting by melting butter in sauce pan. Add brown sugar and boil two minutes. Add milk bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cool to luke warm. Beat in sugar and vanilla. You may add 1/2 c. of nuts if desired.
