Ingredients:
Decorator icing

¾ cup vegetable shortening
¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
4-- 4 ½ cup sifted confectioner’s sugar
½ teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Beat shortening and butter in bowl of an electric mixer on low speed until completely blended. Combine sugar and salt in large bowl. Add half of the sugar mixture to the shortening mixture, beating just until incorporated. Beat in remaining sugar with the milk, vanilla. Do not over mix.

This frosting makes a frosting thick enough for form into flowers. You can add more milk as needed. I added more milk to make a spreading frosting and I added about ½ - 1 teaspoon of almond flavoring for more flavor.
