1 cup Crisco
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup peanut butter (crunchy is best)
3 cups sifted flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add egg, vanilla and peanut butter. Beat well. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Add and blend well.

Shape mixture into small balls: flatten with potato masher or fork to create design. Bake at 375º for 10 minutes.
