3c.flour
1/4t salt
1c.milk
1egg
4 1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 c. shortening
2 1/2 T white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450º
Sift together dry ingredients, Cut in shortening and blend together.Beat egg lightly and add milk . Add to dry ingredients . Mix with fork till dough holds together . Turn dough onto lightly floured board,knead with lightly-flour fingers . Roll out dough to 1 inch thick. Cut with floured cookie cutter . bake 12 min
