1/2 C softened butter
1/4 C Brown sugar
1/2 C granulated sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla extract
1/4 C unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 C flour
1/2 t baking soda
1 C semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Combine butter and sugars in a mixing bowl. Beat with a mixer at medium high speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add egg and vanilla mixing until well combined. Add cocoa, flour and baking soda on low speed until dry ingredients are add in. Add chocolate chips and mix for a few seconds until well mixed.

Drop dough by tablespoons onto a baking sheet about 1 1/2 inch apart. Bake for 8 minutes, until cookie center is done. Cool for two minutes on baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
