1 qt. Strawberries
1 baked 9 inch pie crust (see Grandma Shalek's No Roll Pie Shell)
1C sugar
3 T. cornstarch
3 T. Dry strawberry gelatin
1 C. water
Directions:
Directions:
Clean and slice strawberries.
Mix cornstarch and sugar in a medium sauce pan. Slowly stir in water until sugar and cornstarch mixture is dissolved. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir briskly with a whisk until mixture is clear and thick. Remove from heat. Add dry gelatin, whisk until dissolved.
Cool to room temperature.
Pour sauce over strawberries and mix. Pour strawberries into pie crust.
Serve with fresh whipping cream
