Ingredients:  
1 1/2 c. butter room temp
1c. white sugar
1 large egg
1tsp vanilla
4c. flour
1/2 tsp salt
Frosting
1c powered sugar
5 tbsp water
1tsp almond extract
food coloring

Directions:

Dough
Mix as usual chill for a few hours. Roll out thin, use cut outs and bake at 350.
Frosting
Mix ingredients it is a light glaze over the cookie after the cookies have cooled
