4 c. white flour 1 c. graham flour 1 c. cornmeal 1 tsp. soda 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. shortening about 2 c. buttermilk bacon drippings
Mix like pie crust - cutting in shortening. Add buttermilk, just enough to hold dough together. Mix some dark and light flour together on board. Use a small amount of dough at a time, rolling thin. Bake in oven on cookie sheet at 350º until brown.
