7 egg whites
1 lb. ground almonds
2 t cinnamon, divided
1 lb. powdered sugar, divided

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 3/4 of the sugar and 1 t cinnamon a little at a time. Beat 5 minutes on electric beater. Take out 1 cup full. This becomes the frosting. Add rest of sugar and cinnamon and almonds. Chill in the refrigerator for several hours or over night.

Sprinkle board with flour and granulated sugar (half and half). Spoon half the dough onto the flour, sugar mixture and knead a few times. Roll out the dough, cut with star cookie cutter. Cover the stars well with frosting. Cook the cookies on parchment paper.
Bake at 350 until lightly browned.
