1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water
1 tbsp. white syrup
vanilla
2 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, water, and white syrup until it threads. Add vanilla. Beat 2 egg whites and fold in syrup. To thread, stir with spoon and lift to let it drip off spoon; the string will hang when ready. Beat whites with mixer. Slowly add syrup and continue to beat until firm and ready to spread on cake.
