Ingredients:  
1 - chicken
3/4 c. milk
1 - egg; slightly beaten
salt & pepper to taste
1 to 2 c. flour; or enough flour to make dough stiff

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Sprinkle flour on flat surface and roll dough & cut.
Drop in boiling chicken broth
Cook till dumplings are done.

I ALWAYS DOUBLE MY RECIPE.

Ma always said never to stir your dumplings, always pat them down.

THIS RECIPE CAME FROM MOTHER, and I BELIEVE SHE GOT THIS FROM MA.
THIS IS THE BEST DUMPLINGS IN THE WORLD.
