3-4 lbs spareribs
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
cornstarch and water to thicken

Directions:
Directions:
Cut ribs into 2-rib widths.
Place in large pot and cover with water.
Boil for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
Drain.
Place ribs in roaster.
Mix vinegar, brown sugar, water, soy sauce and ketchup together and pour over ribs.
Cover and bake in the oven at 300 C for 3 hours. Thicken with cornstarch and water during the last 1/2 hour if needed.
