Ingredients:
2 Cans Crescent Rolls
4 Baking Apples, Medium Size
Butter or Oleo
1/2 Cup Sugar
1-1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
2 Cups Water
1 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp. Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together 1/2 cup sugar and 1-1/2 tsp. cinnamon.

Syrup: 2 cups water, 1 cup sugar, 2 tbsp. butter or oleo, and 1 tsp. cinnamon.

Peel and core apples. Cut each apple into quarters. Take each quarter and place on flattened crescent triangle, put a small amount (1/2 tsp.) of butter in center of apple, then 1/2 tsp. of sugar and cinnamon mixture. Wrap crescent roll around apple and seal. Place in lightly sprayed dish. When all 16 quarters are fixed, make syrup and heat until sugar, butter and cinnamon are melted and mixed. Pour over dumplings and cook at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Crescents will over brown if not careful. This recipe can be cut in half real easy.
