4 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk

1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and milk together and cook until it starts to thicken. Remove from heat and cool completely.

In another bowl mix sugar, butter and shortening for 5 minutes. Then add cooled thickened mixture. Beat for another 5 minutes til smooth.

This is really good icing for chocolate cake as well as for whoppie pies.
