Small package of pasta (your choice of shells, elbow, bow ties, etc.) 1 pkg of crab meat, crab substitute or 1 large can of tuna, 1/2 C. finely chopped celery, 1/2 C. chopped red onion, 1 C. frozen english peas, 1 t. lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste and HELLMAN'S mayonnaise to suit your taste.
Cook the pasta according to package directions drain and cool. Mix all the other ingredients into the pasta, refrigerate and serve.
My aunt Irene French gave me this recipe and she and I have taken turns making it and sharing with each other. It turned into a comfort food for both of us. And using the imitation crab is probably better than the real thing
