3 C. Flour
½ tsp. salt
1 ¼ C. Butter
1 C. Sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour and salt. Cream butter, gradually add sugar, blend in eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour mixture. Roll into balls on to ungreased cookie sheet. Make dent in center of each cookie with a spoon. Fill dent with jam. Sprinkle top with finely chopped nuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
