1 bag of milk chocolate chips (11 & ½-ounces)
2 Tbsp. shortening
1-14-ounce bag of caramels
5 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. water
1 cup dry roasted peanut

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate chips and shortening in a double-boiler until smooth.

In another saucepan, melt caramels, butter and water until smooth. Stir in peanuts

Pour ½ of chocolate mixture into a foil-lined 8x8 pan. Refrigerate 15 minutes until set. Pour caramel mixture over chocolate. Refrigerate 15 minutes until set. Top with remaining chocolate mixture. Refrigerate until set.
