8 oz cream cheese softened
1 t peppermint extract
9 c powdered sugar
3/4 c milk chocolate chips
3/4 c semi sweet chocolate chips
3 T shortening
Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, beat the cream cheese and extract until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar beating well. Shape into 1" balls and place on waxed paper. Flatten into patties. Cover and refrigerate at least for one hour or until fully chilled. In microwave, melt chips and shortening mixing until smooth. Cool slightly and dip patties into chocolate returning patties back to waxed paper to harden. Store in refrigerator
