1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
4 1/2 cup flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup of Raisins, nuts and dates
Lemon or vanilla

Mix all ingredients and bake 375º F for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned and cooked.

This recipe was given to Grandma Clara Ready by her mother-in-law Grandma Anna Ready. It sounds wonderful and it must be yummy as Grandma Anna Ready was a great baker.
